Having found out that I'm suffering from PND about 6 months ago when my son was 6 months old, I wish I'd read this book then. It is superb. There are ten chapters focusing on ten different accounts of the illness. I recognised myself in one or two of the chapters and realised there is an end in sight at some point.

I loved this book. I am a Psychotherapist now working with postnatal depression. The interviews and analysis of the interviews give a wonderful insight into the experience of postnatal depression for both the sufferer and their partner.

Loved this book, it really helped me to know that other women have felt unable to cope and not felt the "sudden rush of love" we are all expected to have when we hold our baby for the first time. Would recommend to all new mothers finding it hard.
